Job Description:
A Consultancy and Insurance firm in Lagos, Nigeria requires the services of a qualified person to fill in the role stated above.
Responsibilities:
• He or she shall be responsible for assisting in the sourcing of Property information such as the following; Title, Deed descriptions, Surveyor or general diagram, Municipal information and data on valuations for town planning, zoning and market intelligence related to rental statistics and yields for various types of property.
• He will be Assisting with the site inspections in regards to building measurements and work field notes describing the insured property.
• He will be Assisting with the inspections of property (Property inspections). Control, carrying out of research in regards to costs and values.
• He shall be responsible for the total preparation of valuation financial or insurance reports.
• He shall be responsible for implementing the financial investment methods, which will involve the preparation of discount cash flows in order to arrive at the net-present value of a property rental income stream.
• He shall be responsible for the estimated replacement new cost for insurance purposes and the calculation of depreciated replacement court costs in the cases of specialized properties.
• The control and adoption of raw statistics of comparable sales and rentals by reference to the market information shall be his duty.
• He will ensure that clients are satisfied with the Company's services. He obtains feedback from clients and continues to work to improve services.
• He will resolve the client requests, complaints and problems.
• He will promote good will and convey a positive image for the Company.
• He will promotes services at all trade shows. Pro actively pursues new potential clients then builds a database of clients in view.
• He sets goals in accordance with Company objectives. He tracks progress toward achieving goals.
• He will provide assistance to area personnel as it is needed.
• He will keep the management informed of area activities and changes in competitive conditions, significant problems.
• He completes required reports and records accurately and promptly and attends meetings as are required. He shall complete special projects.
• He shall cross sell the Company’s other services and provides leads to other company's departments.
• He Assists with updating of stock and database.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• He should have a minimum of B.Sc in a relevant discipline with about 10-12 years of experience
• He shall have strong interpersonal public relations skills.
• He shall have Excellent supervisory and leadership prowess. He shall be well organized with problem solving abilities.
• He shall be proactive. He shall pay good attention to details and statistical accuracy.
• He shall be endowed with the ability to relate at all levels.
• He must have the ability to control stress and work under intense pressure.
• He must have a good head knowledge of the Company services. Understanding of the product positioning and competitive work conditions.
• He shall have a knowledge of Valuations and good marketing techniques and principles.
