Job Description:
A consulting firm in lagos Nigeria requires the services of qualified and experienced individuals for this position stated above.

Responsibilities:
• He will Review settled claims of insurance to determine that the payments and settlements have been paid in accordance with company's practices and procedures.
 

• He will Report over payments, under payments, and other irregularities.
 

• He will Maintain a customer data base and Investigate customer needs and advise appropriate insurance policy.
 

• He will Confer with the legal counsel on claims that require litigation.
 

• He will Investigate, analyze, and detect the extent of insurance on firm's liability concerning personal, casualty, or property damages or loss, and attempt to make settlement with claimants.
 

• He will Correspond with and interview medical specialists, agents, witnesses, and claimants to compile information.
 

• He will Give technical and market support to firm and Ensure continuous updates on government's regulation.
 

• He will Calculate benefit payments and approve the payment of claims within a specific monetary limit.
 

• He will appraise auto mobile or other vehicle damages to determine the cost of repair for an insurance claim settlement and seek an agreement with auto motive repair shop on the cost of automobile repair.
 

• He will prepare insurance policy forms to indicate the repair cost or estimated costs and recommendations Obtain information from the insured or designated people for purpose of claim settlement with insurance carrier.
 

• He will Update existing insurance policies and company's records to reflect the changes requested by the policy holders and the insurance company representatives.
 

• He will process new policies of insurance, make modifications to existing policies and claims contract forms.
 

 • He will obtain information from policy holders, to verify the accuracy and completeness of information on insurance claims forms, applications and all related documents, and all company records.
 

• He will process applications for changes to reinstatement of, and cancellation of all insurance policies.
 

• He will manage long term claims and re assess them regularly.
 

• He will make recommendations for the settlement of claims and Ensure compliance with company's policy and any procedure relating to insurance.
 

• He will ensure that all the necessary information is provided for claims handlers in time.
 

• He will give technical and market support to the Company and Carry out research. He will then give periodic reports to the Group and Company on current trends and foresee-able future needs in the insurance industry
 

• He will develop and implement H.S.E policies for the Company.
 

• He will recommend and implement appropriate insurance policies to cover for the current Companys infrastructure and assets.
 

He will Ensure a proper follow up of insurance claims on behalf of existing customers and Increase the company's revenue profile through renewal of premiums, and generation of new business.
 

• He will Strategically create platforms for strong business pools and subsequently force down payable premiums.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• A university degree in a relevant field is required with three to five years of work experience.

• An Excellent communication and interpersonal skill is also required.
