Job Description:
This company is a leading niche private equity fund manager.
Specializing in areas of infrastructure equity, investments in the
Nigerian market, and it manages and advises six funds with over US
dollars 1.3 billion under its management. They have extensive
international skill expertise and a good global reputation in the
establishment, management of infrastructure and other specialized funds.
Job Purpose:
They need a talented individual to fit in the Operational team in Lagos,
Nigeria reporting to the Regional Director always. It is a support role
to provide personnel assistance to the Director, general office
assistance and fulfill a variety of Business and operational functions.
Responsibilities:
Personal Assistance:
•He will take full responsibility for coordination, and all aspects of daily diary management.
• He will be in charge of E-mail management, handling of matters on
behalf of Executives, where possible and appropriately prioritizing
tasks, and helping to work against deadlines.
• He will do the client contact and call flow management.
• He will Potentially take care of some personal matters (banking and
tax, vehicles, medical, travel, insurance, investments) to ensure an
Executive is freed up as to focus on company's business objectives.
• He will be working with confidential and highly sensitive information in general administration.
Travel Management:
• He shall be engaging in all aspects of local & international travel of the company's concerns.
• He shall be using his initiative to effect forex applications, visa applications, land arrangements, hotel
bookings and meetings.
• He shall maintain relationships with company's travel suppliers.
Operations:
• He will be the Interface between out sourced providers and the
company, to ensure compliance with company's regulatory and statutory
requirements.
• He will assist with preparation of presentations for Board members and
will be a general administrator, including setting up of the filing
systems, processes and shared drive,
electronic filing of transaction and documentation of Financial
reconciliation (corporate card and expense claims) and management of the
payment processes on invoices and foreign exchange.
• He will be in charge of conference registration and preparation of petty Cash
Qualifications and Requirements:
• He must have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or with relevant experience.
• He must have above average written and verbal communication skills and
the ability to mingle with staff and investors at all levels.
• He must have a strong attention to detail information.
• He must have a strong time and project management skill with an ability to plan and prioritize
effectively.
• He must have a hard working, can do attitude.
• He must be able to function in an open, fast paced environment.
• He will be able to effectively juggle multiple and competing priorities.
• He should be a team player who can be technically proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point essential.
